INTRACOM / NAMSA Award for Patriot Support

Congratulations to INTRACOM Defense Electronics for receiving a two (2) year contract with an option of three (3) additional years for the support of PATRIOT Systems. This agreement succeeds the five (5) year contract between NAMSA and INTRACOM Defense Electronics that has been successfully completed.

Having visited INTRACOM prior to and during the production and supply of the CJ-HM-182, CJ-HM-161 military headsets, as well as the CJ-H-250 handsets, I was both impressed with and pleased to business with INTRACOM. Our project at the time was for audio accessories for new installations of the PR4G Radio Systems used by the Hellenic Army. Working under joint venture with Miltech Hellas, CJ support for the project continued for about 4 years.

Under this new contract INTRACOM Defense Electronics will provide NATO Nations with supplies and services in order to perform Depot Level Maintenance (DLM), repair, overhaul, modifications, and procurement of spare parts and associated services to support Ground Support Equipment (GSE) components and assemblies for the PATRIOT Systems.

“Our company based on its technology know-how, infrastructure and experienced personnel is capable of providing NATO with competitive, high quality support services for complex defense systems. We believe that during the current defense budget reductions in our country, our capabilities could be further utilized to the benefit of the local economy and the Hellenic Armed Forces” stated Mr. George Troullinos, CEO of INTRACOM Defense Electronics.
